Waste Pumping Services In Island County Washington

Background
The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission (State Parks) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Waste Pumping Services at State Park locations in Island County, WA. The goal of this contract is to establish on-call convenience use contracts for waste pumping services, which may lead to multiple awards. This procurement is governed by RCW 39.26.160, allowing for Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Routine, on-call, and emergency septic pumping
- Filter cleaning
- Tank cleaning and inspection
- Float inspections
- Coordination with staff upon arrival
- Offsite and onsite disposal of sewage as directed by staff
- Maintaining vault sites in an orderly manner
- Restoring work areas to original condition
- Proof of proper waste disposal
- Compliance with all WAC and RCW regulations.

Bidders must at least provide septic tank pumping and disposal services as this is the primary focus for State Parks.

Period of Performance
The resulting multi-year contract may last up to 10 years, with an initial term expected to be five years, subject to mutual negotiation for extensions.

Services will be performed at various State Park locations in Island County, Washington, specifically including Camano Island State Park and Cama Beach State Park.
