WADNR GNA Oak Restoration Botany Survey

Background
The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (WADNR) is initiating a solicitation for firms interested in conducting botanical resource survey services for 'Special Status' plant species and noxious weed species on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands within the Klickitat Oak Restoration project area.
The purpose is to evaluate the effects on Special Status plant species and identify invasive plant species in the area.

Work Details
The work includes conducting botanical surveys on approximately 1,066 acres in Klickitat County to determine the presence of target species, map their locations, provide ecological descriptions, and identify noxious weeds.
The surveys will cover vascular and non-vascular plant species as well as noxious weeds.
Deliverables include documentation of surveys, preparation of survey results, GPS tracks, GIS data, and a final written report.
Minimum qualifications for personnel involved are specified.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance for the contract is from April 12, 2024, to September 30, 2024, with a possible one-year extension at the discretion of the Agency.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Klickitat County under BLM management within the Spokane District.
