Vashon Treatment Plant (VTP) Influent Gate Actuators

Background
The Vashon Treatment Plant (VTP) is managed by King County, which aims to enhance its operational capabilities.
The goal of this contract is to install motor actuators on the plant’s two influent gates to facilitate remote monitoring and operation, as well as to install level sensors in critical process units.

Work Details
The work includes:
1. Replacement of influent gate stems on two existing gates.
2. Installation of electric actuators for remote operation.
3. Installation of radar-style level sensors in critical process units.
4. Installation of buried and exposed conduit and wiring for communication and power.
5. All other work required as specified in the contract documents.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and will continue until all specified tasks are completed, with a bid due date set for April 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Vashon Treatment Plant located at 9615 SW 171st Street, Vashon, WA.
