Vancouver Irrigation Well Improvements

Scope of Work:
Washington State University Vancouver seeks proposals to complete the development of an existing well to supply irrigation water for the campus. The project will:

• Finalize development of the existing well to deliver a pressurized, non-potable water supply for both current and future irrigation zones across the campus, in accordance with allowable water rights.
• Include an alternate bid (Alternate 1) for the removal and replacement of 630 feet of existing 4" Schedule 40 PVC pipe with 4" Schedule 80 PVC pipe.

Background:
Recent improvements at the campus have included installation of electrical and irrigation supply piping to the wellhead. Currently, irrigation water is supplied via four connections to the Clark Public Utilities potable water line running through the University campus. The proposed well improvements are intended to shift irrigation supply to a dedicated non-potable system.

Contract Requirements:

• Contract Time: 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion.
• All proposals must be based on this contract duration.
• Bid Estimate: $165,000.00 - $185,000.00
