Vancouver Crime Lab Shelving and Storage

Background
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is issuing this Competitive Solicitation pursuant to RCW 39.26 with the intent to award an agency contract for the purchase and installation of moveable and modular storage shelving for weapons, weapon accessories, and ammunition for their crime lab located in Vancouver, Washington.

This project is estimated to be valued at less than $150,000 and aims to create an adaptable storage space that is easily accessible and allows for low maintenance organization with room for growth.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the design and installation of shelving and storage systems capable of holding approximately 2000 firearms, with a breakdown of 25% long guns and 75% handguns.

Additionally, a worktable is required, ideally measuring 6 feet along the left side wall, 4 feet along the back wall, and approximately 32 inches in depth. The project also requires the removal and disposal of the existing wall shelving unit. The total uniform weight of the storage system must comply with structural recommendations outlined in Exhibit F.

Period of Performance
The contract term requires all work to be completed by June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the WSP crime lab located in Vancouver, Washington.
