Background
The University of Washington, on behalf of UW Bothell Marketing and Communications, is issuing this Request for Quotation and Qualifications (RFQ) to procure services from a royalty-free music and sound effects licensing supplier. The goal is to support UW Bothell’s video projects for various communications and marketing purposes.

Work Details
The contractor will provide access to a royalty-free music and sound effects library suitable for video projects. The service must allow one flat fee licensing model, not based on actual usage. The estimated value for the contract is $10,000 for a two-year term. Access will be needed for one to two users through a shared departmental email.

The music and sound effects will be used across various distribution platforms including TV, cTV, OTT, etc., although specific distribution methods cannot be predicted.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to span a period of two years, with pricing options also provided for one-year agreements.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the University of Washington Bothell campus or as required by the project needs.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a royalty-free library with 100% ownership of all tracks. They should be able to offer one-stop licensing without royalties based on usage. Bidders are required to acknowledge any redlined documents proposed by UW during negotiations.
