Total Containment Vessel (TCV)

Background
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is seeking to award a sole source contract to NABCO Systems, LLC for a Gas-Tight Total Containment Vessel (TCV). This system is essential for the WSP Interagency Bomb Squad to enhance safety and efficiency during bomb disposal operations. TCVs are designed to securely contain, transport, and test explosive or chemical devices, thereby protecting personnel, property, and the environment from potential hazards associated with explosive detonations.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of a Gas-Tight Total Containment System which includes:
1) Gas-Tight Total Containment System;
2) Training;
3) M-Package Upgrade TCV/ARC (ONAN);
4) Blast Ring with Port Hole.

The TCV is specifically designed to handle hazardous materials safely and effectively, featuring gas-tight capabilities that prevent leaks and ensure containment of hazardous substances. NABCO Systems, LLC is the only manufacturer capable of providing this specialized equipment with unique features such as independent blast testing prior to shipment, closed-loop chem/bio sampling systems, and fail-safe operational systems.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on or about September 25, 2024, and conclude by June 30, 2025. All goods must be delivered by June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the contract will be Washington State Patrol's supply facility located at 8543 Armstrong Road SW, Tumwater, WA.
