Tacoma Community College is initiating a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from firms interested in providing services to provide development and support in migration of existing data sources to a centralized repository to enable analytic solution including dashboards; user adoption training and documentation; development of improved analysis visualizations for AGENCY.
Background
Tacoma Community College (TCC), referred to as 'AGENCY', is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit firms for services related to the development and support of data integration and visualization.

The goal is to migrate existing data sources into a centralized repository to enable analytic solutions, including dashboards, user adoption training, documentation, and improved analysis visualizations. The AGENCY aims to enhance its institutional research capabilities by leveraging existing data resources such as PeopleSoft, Slate, and Power BI.

Work Details
The selected contractor will collaborate with AGENCY's team on the following tasks:
- Develop a unified data solution that improves student outcomes through accessible internal dashboards.
- Provide daily snapshots of enrollment data and trends in a consolidated view.
- Create visualizations for growth/decline, headcount, credit hours, trend comparisons, and demographics.
- Track student progression through the enrollment funnel and identify at-risk students for proactive intervention.
- Deliver insights into the full student lifecycle from admissions to graduation/completion.
- Analyze faculty performance in relation to student success and track Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion metrics.
- Implement dynamic scenario modeling for finance and budget situations.
- Optimize marketing efforts based on data-driven insights.
- Integrate external data sources such as surveys and IPEDS for enhanced outcomes.
- Ensure analytic solutions are accurate, user-friendly, secure, and actionable.
- Establish a unified data platform with necessary data pipelines and ensure data quality assurance.

Period of Performance
The contract is set to begin on October 1, 2024, with an initial duration of three years until October 1, 2027. The AGENCY reserves the right to extend the contract for up to twelve additional months at its discretion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Tacoma Community College located in Tacoma, Washington.
