Spokane County PFAS Water Filtration Phase 1 Project

Work Requested:
Spokane County is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to undertake the following work as part of the PFAS Water Filtration Phase 1 Project:

• Design certified Point-of-Entry Treatment (POET) filter systems for residential homes located on West Plains that have tested positive for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in their private water supply.
• Provide and supply all necessary POET filter system equipment.
• Install the POET filter systems in affected homes.
• Maintain the installed POET filter systems to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.

This solicitation is issued by Spokane County.

Background:
This project is part of Spokane County's ongoing response to PFAS contamination in drinking water. The initiative is conducted in accordance with regulations and guidance from the Washington State Department of Health (DOH), Department of Ecology (DOE), and Department of Commerce.

Contract Requirements:
All POET filter systems must be appropriately certified and comply with applicable state regulations and guidance.
