RFQ 325-432 PEARRYGIN LAKE STATE PARK WEST CAMPGROUND DEVELOPMENT Phase 2

Background
The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission is seeking to select a consultant team for the design, permitting, and preparation of final construction documents for the Pearrygin Lake State Park – West Campground development.
This project aims to enhance camping capacity and improve amenities for visitors at this popular camping destination located in the Methow Valley, Okanogan County.
The park spans 1,184 acres along Pearrygin Lake and has undergone phased redevelopment since acquiring the Derry Resort in the early 2000s.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Full-service campground design meeting ADA standards.
- Construction of a full-service Parks’ standard Comfort Station.
- Installation of two standalone flush restrooms (CXT type structures).
- Development of camp loop utilities including domestic water, sewer, electrical (primary/secondary), irrigation, and communications.
- Construction of roads and parking areas.
- Landscaping improvements.
- On-site sewer system analysis and design to assess existing capacity and determine necessary upgrades or new installations.
- Water system/storage capacity analysis to ensure adequate supply for the new campground development, including potential increases in reservoir capacity.
- Additional services may include bidding assistance, construction contract administration, and project closeout as needed.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to commence with a Notice to Proceed on February 18, 2025. Key milestones include 100% Schematic Design by March 24, 2025; 100% Design Development by April 28, 2025; and completion of Construction Documents by January 20, 2026.
The overall project completion is anticipated in Fall 2027.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at Pearrygin Lake State Park located approximately two miles east of Winthrop in Okanogan County, Washington.
