Background
The King County Department of Executive Services, Facilities Management Division is issuing this contract to provide project management and related services for the Maleng Regional Justice Center (MRJC) Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Improvements project.
The goal is to develop and manage the contract for the delivery of these improvements. The exact disciplines required and the amount of work for each discipline have not been predetermined, allowing for flexibility in adding disciplines as necessary to meet specific work orders.
Work Details
The Consultant will provide professional services on a work order basis, which may include but are not limited to project management, coordination of HVAC improvements, and any additional services as required by specific work orders.
The Consultant must be capable of expeditiously adding disciplines as needed. There is no guarantee that all services outlined in the Scope of Work will be utilized.
Period of Performance
The contract has a period of performance of eight years with two one-year options to extend.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Maleng Regional Justice Center located in King County, Washington.
Bidder Requirements
Consultants must comply with M/WBE aspirational goals as specified in the agreement. They are required to make Good Faith Efforts to ensure M/WBE firms are aware of contracting opportunities and to report their use of MBE and WBE subconsultants.
Additionally, consultants must comply with King County Ordinance 19925 regarding responsible contracting.
