Description

The purpose of this contract is to provide Construction Management (CM) and related services on a work order basis for King County ( County ). The exact disciplines required and the amount of work for each discipline have not been determined. The Consultant should be capable of adding disciplines expeditiously as necessary to meet the needs of specific work orders. There is no guarantee that all services in this Scope of Work will be used.
Background
King County is seeking proposals from firms to provide Construction Management (CM) and related services on a work order basis for the Wastewater Treatment Division. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the County can efficiently manage various construction projects as needed, with the flexibility to add disciplines as required. This contract does not guarantee that all services outlined will be utilized.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Construction Management services which may include but are not limited to: managing large work order contracts, coordinating multiple project teams, overseeing contractor activities, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, maintaining project budgets, and providing high-quality work products.

The consultant must also demonstrate experience in managing CM services for wastewater or similar industrial facilities, including sustainable design and LEED documentation. Specific roles required include Project Manager, Resident Engineer, Constructability Engineer, Project Scheduler, Project Cost Estimator, and Lead Document Control Specialist.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for one year with an option to extend for two additional one-year periods, totaling a maximum of three years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in King County, Washington.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must register in the E-Procurement Supplier Portal to participate. There are no specific set-aside certifications mentioned; however, the proposal should include a plan for maximizing participation from Minority and Women Business Enterprises (M/WBE).
