PAPD Range Driveway Improvement

Background
The City of Port Angeles, Washington, is seeking contractors to improve the secondary driveway for the Police Department shooting range. This project aims to enhance access to the training facility located at 3501 West 18th Street, Building F, Port Angeles, WA. The estimated budget for this project ranges from $4,000 to $6,000.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all work necessary to repair and improve the unpaved driveway at the shooting range. The scope includes:

1. Providing a rock base (3” minus or equivalent) for stability across the entire driveway.
2. Applying a gravel overlay (7/8th minus or equivalent) to create a smooth driving surface.
3. Compaction of materials to ensure durability.
4. All work must comply with local codes and standards including International Building Code (IBC), International Residential Code (IRC), and others as specified in Attachment 'A'.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period begins 10 calendar days after the notice to proceed is issued and must be completed within 20 days thereafter.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Police Department shooting range located at 3501 West 18th Street, Building F, Port Angeles, Washington, 98363.
