On-Call Data Modernization and Analytics Consulting Services

Background
The City of Seattle, through its Seattle Public Utilities (SPU), is seeking proposals for On-Call Data Modernization and Analytics Consulting Services. The purpose of this contract is to enhance the data management and analytical capabilities of the City, ensuring that services are provided efficiently and effectively. The consultant will be selected through a competitive process to assist in achieving the City's mission of providing high-quality public utilities.

Work Details
The consultant will provide various services including but not limited to:
1. Data modernization strategies and implementation plans.
2. Analytics consulting services to improve decision-making processes.
3. Development of digital materials such as reports, data visualizations, maps, graphs, and photos compatible with SPU's current file formats.
4. Compliance with City Standards for work included in this contract, which can be found at the City’s website.
5. All work must be authorized by a Work Assignment issued by the City, detailing specific services to be performed.

Period of Performance
The term of this Agreement begins upon execution by all parties and ends on the specified end date unless amended or terminated earlier under the provisions outlined in the contract.

Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed within the City of Seattle or as specified in individual Work Assignments.

Bidder Requirements
Consultants must comply with various requirements including:
1. Registration and subscription to the City’s Procurement Portal.
2. Adherence to WMBE inclusion plans if applicable, ensuring participation of woman and minority-owned businesses in subcontracting opportunities.
3. Compliance with local labor standards including minimum wage laws and non-discrimination policies.
