Background
The Washington State Department of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW) is seeking quotations from firms interested in participating in the Methow Forest Restoration project. The project aims to contract harvesting and delivering approximately 578 acres of timber in 5 units for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife on the Methow Wildlife Area in Okanogan County, Washington. The project is located 6 miles North of Winthrop and 4 miles South of Twisp, Washington.

Work Details
The selected harvester will be expected to access, cut, yard, load, and haul logs from the Methow Forest Restoration Timber Sale to specified delivery points.
Eligible bidders must be licensed to do business in the State of Washington, demonstrate capability to perform the work outlined in the Harvesting Services Contract, and meet minimum qualifications.
Bidders must submit a bid for the Harvesting Services Contract along with a Statement of Available Resources and Work Plan.
The period of performance for the Harvesting Service Contract is tentatively scheduled for April 6th, 2024 through December 31st, 2024, with log deliveries to be completed by November 20th, 2024.
