Megamation DirectLine Mobile App Sole Source

Background
The University of Washington Bothell (UWB) is planning to award a sole source contract to Megamation Systems Inc. for their DirectLine Mobile Application services. This decision is based on UWB's need for a unified computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) that integrates with the existing system provided by the State Board of Community & Technical Colleges (SBCTC) for all community and technical colleges in Washington.

UWB and Cascadia College share campus facilities, making it essential to have a single work order system to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Work Details
UWB intends to purchase an add-on service for the DirectLine platform’s Mobile Application, which is not included in the SBCTC contract. The mobile app enables field teams to access the DirectLine platform via mobile devices, allowing them to manage work orders, submit purchase requests, and access critical information while in the field.

The projected value of this service over ten years is $35,880 (excluding taxes). UWB plans to enter into a contract with Megamation on March 17, 2025, with an option to renew annually for up to ten years or until SBCTC terminates its contract with Megamation.

Period of Performance
The contract is set to commence on March 17, 2025, with annual renewals possible for a maximum duration of ten years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the University of Washington Bothell campus.
