Description
Background
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking to procure LiDAR - Mobile Mapping System Data Processing and Quality Control Software. The goal of this contract is to analyze, visualize, align, and adjust datasets obtained from the Riegl VMX-2HA Mobile Mapping System. This includes LiDAR data, MMS imagery, and Ladybug panoramic imagery. The software will ensure optimal accuracy in delivering georeferenced outputs while performing quality assurance and generating comprehensive reports.
Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. Data Import: Seamlessly import raw LiDAR datasets and Ladybug panoramic imagery from the Riegl VMX-2HA system while maintaining original structure and format.
2. Data Management: Organize and manage datasets for efficient analysis and processing.
3. Visualization: Visualize LiDAR and imagery data for review and verification purposes.
4. Alignment: Orient datasets using system calibration files and control points, integrating additional control data as needed to enhance accuracy.
5. Data Adjustment: Refine data to align with the control network ensuring spatial consistency.
6. Deliverable Generation: Produce georeferenced .LAZ files compatible with version 1.4, generate JPG outputs with corresponding world files (.iprj, .csv), and provide QA/QC reports detailing accuracy metrics.
Period of Performance
The specific period of performance is not detailed in the solicitation; however, it typically spans several months depending on project milestones.
Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within Washington State, specifically where WSDOT operations are conducted.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must certify their compliance with various requirements including having all necessary software, equipment, qualified personnel, and supplies to provide the services as defined in the solicitation. Bidders are also required to be registered with the Washington Secretary of State and Department of Revenue, and must comply with insurance requirements as mandated by Washington law.
