Work Details
The contract requires the vendor to provide a comprehensive service and preventative maintenance plan for two Thermo Scientific Gas Chromatography/Triple Quadrupole (GCMSMS) instruments located at MEL. Specific requirements include:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing Thermo Scientific GCMSMS instruments.
2. Unlimited telephone technical support during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday).
3. Unlimited onsite service visits within 72 hours from a request for technical support.
4. Replacement of parts for all electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and analytical repairs included in the quotation price, with parts being equal to or better than the original manufacturer’s parts.
5. Annual preventative maintenance scheduled to include replacing pump oils, cleaning sources, and verifying proper operation post-maintenance.
6. Field Service Engineers employed directly by the bidder will perform all services.

Period of Performance
The expected coverage period for the service contracts is from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Manchester Environmental Laboratory located at 7411 Beach Drive East, Port Orchard, WA 98366.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a Statement of Qualifications demonstrating their ability to meet the specified requirements, including references from similar past projects. Additionally, bidders must comply with certifications regarding wage laws, workers' rights, and nondiscrimination as outlined in the solicitation.
