The Washington State Department of Labor and Industry is contemplating awarding a sole source contract to First Databank, Inc. for utilizing their Licensed Solutions for the purposes of processing and adjudicating Workers Compensation claims and providing prospective and retrospective drug utilization review services related to such claims.

Work Details
First Databank, Inc. will provide their Licensed Solutions, including FDB MEDKNOWLEDGE, Enhanced Package, which covers up to 50,000 claims per month and includes various clinical modules such as counseling messages module, dosage range check module, drug allergy module, drug-disease contraindication module, and drug-drug interaction module.
The Licensee will use the Licensed Solutions for processing and adjudicating Workers Compensation claims and providing prospective and retrospective drug utilization review services related to such claims.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries located at 7273 Linderson Way SW, Tumwater, WA 98501-5414.
