Forensic Pathologist Locum Tenens Clark County RFQ

Background
The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office is seeking qualified individuals or firms to contract as locum tenens forensic pathologists on a fee-for-service basis. This initiative aims to ensure that the Medical Examiner's Office has access to qualified forensic pathologists to handle cases as needed, thereby supporting public health and safety in Clark County, Washington.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide locum tenens forensic pathology services on a fee-for-service basis. Specific services will be outlined in the Fee Schedule Sample (Attachment A) provided by the Clark County Medical Examiner's Office.

The contractor must possess a valid Washington MD/DO license in good standing and be board certified in Forensic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. Additionally, they must have active registration in the Washington Electronic Death Record System (EDRS) and be able to electronically sign death certificates for cases performed or certified.

The contractor is also required to comply with all county policies and procedures, including human resources policies, and follow state and federal laws governing their work.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins upon execution of the contract and continues until termination as specified within the contract terms.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in Clark County, Washington.
