Digital Fundraising Platform

Background
The University of Washington is seeking a digital fundraising platform to enhance donor experience, manage paid memberships, and streamline donation tracking.

The goal is to replace existing homegrown solutions with a robust platform that offers flexible payment options and increases donor engagement through crowdfunding and social fundraising.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a digital fundraising platform that includes the following features:

- PCI compliant credit card processing
- API integration with the University's CRM for real-time reporting
- API integration with a custom DMS
- Access to test environments for feature development
- Partitioned data management for KUOW

The platform must support various payment options including social and peer-to-peer (Venmo/PayPal), web-based (Apple Pay, Google Pay), ACH, DAF, and cryptocurrency. Functional requirements include recurring payments, scheduled payments, mobile optimization, membership management, ticketing/timed entry sales, and the ability to edit recurring donations. Data management must include detailed reporting on donor information and transactional data. The contractor must ensure strong documentation for API usage and provide fast response times to issues.

Period of Performance
The RFI was released on September 11, 2024, with responses due by October 2, 2024.
