DCYF - Echo Glen Emergency Generator Project 2024-069 G (2-2)

Background
The DCYF - Echo Glen Emergency Generator Project is issued by the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) under the Facility Professional Services (FPS) division. The project aims to enhance emergency preparedness at the Echo Glen Children's Center by installing a new generator. Work Details
The contract involves the installation of an emergency generator at the Echo Glen Children's Center. Specific tasks include:

1. Installation of HVAC systems;
2. Plumbing work;
3. Electrical work;
4. Structural steel installation;
5. Rebar installation.

Bidders must submit Form A for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical with their bid proposal or within one hour after bid submission. Form B for Structural Steel and Rebar must be submitted within 48 hours after bid submission.

Period of Performance

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Washington State Public Works Bid Laws and provide names of subcontractors for HVAC, plumbing, electrical work on Form A and for structural steel installation and rebar on Form B if their bid exceeds $1 million. Additionally, bidders must register in the DES Diversity Compliance program (B2Gnow) and aim to meet voluntary diversity goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% Washington Small Business, and 5% Veterans.
