Wenatchee Valley College (WVC), hereafter called COLLEGE, is initiating this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified consultants interested in submitting competitive proposals for providing key deliverables that will initiate a comprehensive rebranding effort for the COLLEGE.
Background
Wenatchee Valley College (WVC) is initiating this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified consultants interested in submitting competitive proposals for providing key deliverables that will initiate a comprehensive rebranding effort for the COLLEGE. WVC is a public regionally and nationally accredited two-year college located in Wenatchee, Washington serving an average of 3,900 students each quarter on its 60-acre campus and through online courses. The college offers two-year transfer degrees, applied bachelor’s degrees, professional-technical training programs, as well as basic education, job skills, and community and continuing education classes. The college consists of approximately 90 full-time faculty, 109 part-time faculty, and 130 exempt and classified staff and serves approximately 2,900 FTE students a year.

Work Details
The COLLEGE seeks to update and streamline the corporate and athletic brands and is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed, and experienced firms to identify, develop, and implement a comprehensive rebranding initiative to replace or enhance the current corporate and athletic brands of Wenatchee Valley College. The proposal should contain a proposed scope of work that includes:
- A comprehensive audit of both the COLLEGE and WVC Athletic brands
- An overview of higher education branding best practices
- A review of current branding efforts of other Washington State community colleges
- A thorough review of the draft strategic plan
- A series of internal and external focus groups
- A comprehensive branding strategy based on organizational values outlined in the strategic plan
- A toolkit of marketing and advertising templates
- A fully developed style guide for COLLEGE use
- Bios for key CONTRACTOR team members that will support this initiative.
CONTRACTORs should clearly identify in their proposal how they will engage with students, faculty members, administrators, and community members.

Period of Performance
The anticipated initial term of any contract resulting from this RFP is tentatively scheduled from March 1, 2024- August 31, 2024. The COLLEGE reserves the right to amend the performance period of any contract resulting from this RFP.
