Background
Seattle Colleges, the largest community college district in Washington, is seeking proposals for the acquisition of a new blast booth for the Finishing Trades Institute of Northwest (FTINW). This initiative aims to replace aging equipment to enhance training for industrial students pursuing state certifications in a controlled environment. The project is funded through the Career Launch Equipment Grant awarded to South Seattle College, which will directly benefit various painting occupations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide and install a fully assembled prefabricated blast booth designed for abrasive blasting operations. Key components include:
- Insulated booth walls
- Personnel access door
- Six 150W LED overhead lights
- Electrical control panel
- Intake and exhaust plenums
- Insulated 2" panels for sound attenuation
- Swing doors operable from both inside and outside

The booth dimensions must not exceed 15' L x 8' W x 9' H. Period of Performance
The blast booth must be received, installed, and invoiced by June 30, 2027.

The installation will take place at the Finishing Trades Institute Northwest located at 6770 E. Marginal Way, Seattle, WA 98108.

Bidder Requirements
Bids must not exceed $225,000 and should include all costs associated with providing the product and services such as taxes, freight, installation, testing, and training. The successful bidder must be licensed to operate in Washington State and possess a Unified Business Identifier (UBI) number.
