Description

The Washington State (WSP) is issuing this Competitive Solicitation pursuant to RCW 39.26. Pursuant to this Competitive Solicitation, WSP intends to conduct a competitive procurement to award a Purchase Order/Agency Contract for WSP to secure certified Garmin technicians for the removal of existing autopilot and components, and the purchase and installation of a Garmin GFC 600 digital autopilot in our Beechcraft King Air B200 aircraft.
Background
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is issuing this Competitive Solicitation pursuant to RCW 39.26. The goal of the contract is to secure certified Garmin technicians for the removal of existing autopilot and components, and the purchase and installation of a Garmin GFC 600 digital autopilot in their Beechcraft King Air B200 aircraft.

This upgrade aims to enhance safety, reliability, and operational capabilities by improving fuel efficiency and navigation accuracy while reducing maintenance costs through better troubleshooting.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1) Removing the existing autopilot and components from the Beechcraft King Air B200 aircraft.
2) Purchasing and installing a Garmin GFC 600 digital autopilot that integrates with the currently installed Garmin avionics package.
3) Conducting a successful ground and flight test of the installed product to demonstrate full functionality prior to acceptance.

The installation facility must be located within a 350-mile radius of Olympia, Washington.

Period of Performance
The contract term is expected to last for sixty (60) months, with specific timelines for installation and testing to be determined upon contract award.

Place of Performance
The primary installation facility must be located within a 350-mile radius of Olympia, Washington.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be small businesses as defined in RCW 39.26.010(22)(a) or certified Washington veteran-owned businesses with the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA).

Bidders must also provide proof of their ability to meet performance requirements outlined in Exhibit B-1 and qualifications in Exhibit B-2.
