Automobiles Statewide Contract

Background
The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services is issuing this Competitive Solicitation to establish and award Statewide Contracts for various makes and models of motor vehicles. This initiative aims to facilitate the procurement process for Washington state agencies and other eligible purchasers, ensuring they can acquire necessary vehicles efficiently and cost-effectively. The contracts will be awarded based on specified categories and vehicle manufacturers, allowing bidders to participate in a competitive procurement process as mandated by Washington's Procurement Code.

Work Details
The contract encompasses the procurement of motor vehicles across ten specified categories:

1. Police Vehicles
2. Automobiles (Sub-Compact, Compact, Mid-Sized, Large)
3. Automobiles (Hybrid, Electric, Plug-In Hybrid)
4. Vans (Passenger, Cargo, Cutaway/Chassis)
5. Sport Utility Vehicles (Small, Mid-Size, Large)
6. Light Duty Pickup Trucks (Class 1/2/3)
7. Medium Duty Trucks (Class 4/5/6)
8. Chassis Cab and Cutaway Trucks (3/4/5/6)
9. Heavy Duty Trucks (Class 7)
10. Low Speed Vehicle (LSV).

Bidders may submit proposals for one or more categories and must be authorized dealers for the vehicle manufacturers they represent. The solicitation includes detailed specifications that bidders must meet as outlined in Exhibit B-1 and performance requirements in Exhibit B-2. All vehicles provided must be new and unused of the latest model or design.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is up to seventy-two months, with pricing specified for the first twelve months. The anticipated timeline for contract awards is set for December 1, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the State of Washington, serving various state agencies and eligible purchasers.
