Asbestos Hazard Remediation (Enumclaw)

Background
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking quotes from qualified companies to provide asbestos hazard remediation services at their facility located in Enumclaw, WA. This solicitation aims to ensure the safe removal of asbestos in compliance with state regulations and standards.

Work Details
The successful bidder will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials for the asbestos hazard remediation services as detailed in Appendix F. The work includes:

1. Asbestos Hazard Remediation Services to be quoted on a lump sum basis, inclusive of all costs.

Bidders must submit quotes using the provided worksheet in Appendix D.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from the date of award until the completion of work, which must occur no later than 60 business days after commencement. Bidders are required to commence work onsite within 30 business days after contract award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the WSDOT NWR Maintenance Area 4 Enumclaw Facility located at 333 Griffin Avenue, Enumclaw, WA 98022.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified through Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) to perform asbestos hazard remediation work. Additionally, they must register with the Washington State Office of Financial Management (OFM) as a statewide payee before contract performance begins. Compliance with Washington State prevailing wage requirements is mandatory.
