Armored Car and Courier Services

Background
The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (Enterprise Services) is issuing this Competitive Solicitation pursuant to RCW 39.26. The purpose of this Competitive Solicitation is to establish and award multiple Contracts by specified geographic area and specified contract categories, for Washington state agencies and eligible purchasers to purchase certain specified courier transport services, via armored car, smart safe rentals including Armored Car Services, and courier transport services, via unarmored courier service, to transport currency and other valuables or packages (collectively “Armored Car & Courier Services”).

Work Details
Enterprise Services intends to award Contracts for each of the following categories: Armored Car Services, Smart Safe Rentals with Armored Car Services, and Courier Services. The specific services to be provided include the transport of currency and other valuables via armored car, smart safe rental including servicing via Armored Car Services, and the transport of currency and other valuables or packages via an unarmed courier service. The contracts will be awarded by specified geographic area and by Contract award type.

Period of Performance
The contract term is for up to seventy-two (72) months. Bidders are required to specify prices for the first twelve (12) months of the contract term. The Contract is subject to earlier termination.

Place of Performance
The contracts will be awarded by specified geographic area, including various regions such as Olympic Region, Northwest Region, Southwest Region, South Central Region, North Central Region, Eastern Region, and by county within Washington state.
