Description

The purpose of RFQ is to purchase two (2) multi-unit, multi-parameter remote air monitoring systems for the Department of Ecology, Spill Prevention, Preparedness, and Response Program.
Background
The Department of Ecology, Spill Prevention, Preparedness, and Response Program is seeking to enhance coordinated community air monitoring for hazardous materials during emergency incidents. The goal of this contract is to purchase two multi-unit, multi-parameter remote air monitoring systems that can detect multiple hazards including volatile organic compounds, combustibles, toxic chemicals, and oxygen.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of two (2) AreaRAE Pro Rapid Deployment Kits (RDK) W01R-11 and two (2) Host Controller Laptop Kits for RAE Systems AreaRAE RDK – AS1-RDKH1. The specifications include:

1. AreaRAE Pro Rapid Deployment Kit must be configured with PID, H2S, LEL, O2, CO, Cl2, NH3; include wireless options (ISM Radio + Mesh + Wi-Fi); have a 2-mile remote monitoring range; integrated GPS; RAELink3; spare Li-ion batteries; and a local weather station with wind speed, direction, temperature, and relative humidity.

2. Host Controller Laptop Kit must include a ruggedized laptop with Windows 10 or 11 operating system, Intel Quad Core CPU or higher, 32GB RAM, SSD with 200+ GB capacity, and necessary ports. It should also come preinstalled with Safety Suite Responder Software and include a waterproof case.

Period of Performance
All goods and services must be received by June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
Delivery is to be made to the Washington State Department of Ecology at 300 Desmond Drive SE, Lacey, WA 98503.
