Alliance for Professional Development, Training, and Caregiver Excellence C

Background
The University of Washington, through the Alliance for Professional Development, Training, and Caregiver Excellence (Alliance), is seeking vendors to provide CPR/First Aid training. This initiative aims to enhance the skills and capacity of individuals working with vulnerable children and families, particularly those involved in foster care. The Alliance has historically contracted for in-person CPR/First Aid classes required for licensing caregivers in Washington State.

Work Details
The selected contractor(s) will provide in-person CPR/First Aid courses across all six DCYF regions in Washington State. Key deliverables include:

1. Online education with in-person skills testing for up to 3,500 individuals using a curriculum compliant with Washington Administration Code section 110-148-1375.

2. A blended learning platform that incorporates eLearning technology for teaching key components of the curriculum.

3. In-person skills assessment and certification throughout all 39 counties and 29 Tribal communities in Washington.

4. Monthly data reports detailing completion status, class locations, individual test scores, and billing data.

5. Previous participant course evaluation results and an annually completed Data Processing Agreement as required by the University Privacy Office.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 15 months, from April 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed throughout all six DCYF regions in Washington State, covering all 39 counties and 29 Tribal communities.
