2026 Wastewater Biosolids Removal, Dewatering, Hauling, and Land Application at Kennewick Wastewater Treatment Plant

Scope of Work:
The contract involves the following services at the City of Kennewick Wastewater Treatment Plant:

• Removal of biosolids from Aerated Lagoon No. 1
• Dewatering of the removed biosolids
• Weighing of biosolids
• Hauling of biosolids
• Land application of biosolids

All work must be performed in accordance with the Special Provisions and Technical Specifications provided for the project.

Requesting Agency:
This solicitation is issued by the City of Kennewick.

Background:
The project, titled 2026 Wastewater Biosolids Removal, is identified as RFB NO. P2609-26. The engineer's estimate for the project is $3,500,000. The work will take place at the City of Kennewick Wastewater Treatment Plant, specifically at Aerated Lagoon No. 1.

Contract Requirements:
All contractors must adhere to the Special Provisions and Technical Specifications. Bidders are required to submit a bid proposal deposit, which may be in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond.

Submission Instructions:
Sealed bids must be delivered to the Dan Frost Municipal Services Building, 1010 E. Chemical Drive, Kennewick, WA 99336, by March 26, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. At that time, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Frost Building Main Conference Room.
