Stormwater Flow Restoration Design projects in Shelburne

Background
The Town of Shelburne, Vermont, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for consultant services to prepare engineering design plans to meet compliance for two Flow Restoration Plan (FRP) sites. Work Details
Consultants are tasked with preparing engineering design plans for the following sites: Shelburne Meadows (6303-9050.3) and Maeck Farm (8666-9050.1). The scope of work includes:

1. **Engineering Report**: Analyze current stormwater treatment designs and determine additional needs to meet FRP goals. Deliverables include a report and existing site survey for Maeck Farm.

2. **Engineering Design**: Develop engineering plans for improvements at each site, including final conditions HydroCAD model, cost estimates, and necessary permits. All deliverables must be standalone documents.

3. **Landowner Coordination**: The Town will lead landowner coordination; consultants may need to prepare materials for meetings.

4. **Permit Review and Submission**: Conduct analysis to confirm required permits, including amending the current Maeck Farm 9050 permit.

5. **Survey**: For Maeck Farm, conduct or oversee a licensed surveyor to perform topographic surveys, locate boundary monuments, obtain elevations of catch basins, identify significant trees, and prepare an existing conditions site plan.

6. **Construction Cost Estimate**: Provide cost estimates for proposed stormwater treatment practices.

Period of Performance
The projects need to be completed by August 2026 to remain eligible for funding.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Shelburne, Vermont at the specified project sites: Shelburne Meadows Business Park and Maeck Farm.

Bidder Requirements
