Leahy BTV Seeking Sealed Bids for Cargo Apron Construction Project at the Airport

Background
The City of Burlington, VT, is issuing this solicitation for the construction of a new PCC cargo apron at the Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport.

The project is part of AIP Project No. 3-50-0005-1xx-20XX and aims to enhance airport operations by expanding cargo handling capabilities.

Work Details
The work includes:
- Construction of a new PCC cargo apron adjacent to an existing PCC cargo apron;
- Earth excavation;
- Removal of existing asphalt and concrete pavements;
- Construction of new full depth P-501 PCC and P-401 HMA aircraft pavements;
- Construction of a new P-401 vehicle service road;
- Mill and overlay of P-401 pavement;
- Installation of new pavement markings;
- Development of a new drainage system including underground treatment and storage chambers, trench drains, drainage pipes, drainage structures, and taxiway edge lighting.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and will be completed by September 30, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a bid via online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.

They are required to provide information on whether their company is listed as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in the state where the work will be performed. A pre-bid conference will be held on March 4, 2026. Bidders must also deposit security in the amount of 5% of the bid with their submission.
