Background
The Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Department of Property and Procurement, is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Quarterly Janitorial Services for the Department of Education in the St. Thomas/St. John District.
The contract aims to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of educational facilities, supporting the mission of providing a conducive learning environment.
Work Details
The Contractor shall provide comprehensive janitorial services including but not limited to: regular cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas; trash removal; floor care including sweeping, mopping, and waxing; window cleaning; and any additional services as specified in the line items listed in GVIBUY.
The services must be performed in accordance with the standards set forth by the Department of Education.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution by the Commissioner of the Department of Property and Procurement and will terminate on September 30, 2025.
There is an option to renew for an additional one-year period subject to availability of funds.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within the St. Thomas/St. John District, Virgin Islands.
