Purchase and Delivery of Tires & Batteries, St. Croix, USVI

Background
The Government of the Virgin Islands (GVI), through its Department of Property and Procurement, is seeking suppliers for the purchase and delivery of tires and batteries in St. Croix, USVI. This initiative aims to ensure that GVI's fleet of vehicles, which includes a variety of light and heavy-duty vehicles, is adequately supplied with necessary tire and battery products. The contract will support emergency response agencies and maintain efficient operations across various departments.

Work Details
The scope of services includes the supply of tires and batteries for GVI's fleet, which encompasses cars, SUVs, trucks, vans, trailers, heavy-duty commercial vehicles like dump trucks and garbage trucks, as well as construction equipment.

Specific requirements include:
- Schedule ‘A’: Light Duty and Medium to Heavy-Duty Tire Supply and Related Services including tire disposal fees.
- Schedule ‘B’: Vehicle and Equipment Batteries and Related Services including battery service fees.
- All tires must be new, first line O.E.M., with warranties provided. Off-brand tires are not accepted.
- Suppliers must have an on-hand inventory to meet GVI’s needs.
- The supplier is responsible for the disposal of used tires according to local regulations.
- Batteries must have a six-month inventory rotation with a 24-month warranty.

Period of Performance
The contract term will cover a twelve (12) month period commencing on October 1, 2023, with options for two additional one-year extensions upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands.
