Background
The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) in Virginia is seeking to establish a contract with one qualified vendor for deck replacement at Westmoreland State Park Visitor Center in Montross, VA. The solicitation is issued as a Quick Quote with small business priority set aside. The work involves mandatory site visits for bidding and all inquiries should be directed to Barbara Little, the Procurement Officer at DCR.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to repair the Visitor Center deck at Westmoreland State Park. The scope of work includes removing current railing and deck boards, verifying dimensions, evaluating damaged deck joists, beams, or support columns, supplying and installing replacements for damaged components using pressure treated materials, adding blocking to the deck frame for securing handrail posts, placing butyl tape on top of joists before installation of new deck material, supplying and installing new composite deck boards with TREX Select product or approved equivalent, ensuring all products are new and in good condition, and meeting current building codes.
The project must be completed between June 28, 2024, and July 19, 2024.

Period of Performance
The work shall be completed within 30 days of the award of the contract. All services shall be performed during normal business hours between 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
