Background
The Prince William County Service Authority, operating as 'Prince William Water', is a public utility established in 1983 under the Virginia Water and Sewer Authorities Act. It provides comprehensive water and sewer services to approximately 97,000 customers in Prince William County, which is experiencing rapid population growth and is known for its diverse community.

The agency aims to deliver safe, reliable water service while ensuring environmental protection through effective wastewater management. This RFP seeks to engage multiple qualified engineering firms for water reclamation, wastewater treatment plant, and laboratory engineering services.

Work Details
The selected firms will provide engineering and consulting services related to the planning, design, and support of water reclamation facilities, wastewater treatment plants, and laboratory operations. The scope includes tasks at the H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility (AWRF) and may extend to other related projects as needed.

Specific tasks will be identified through Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA), allowing for the issuance of Task Orders for particular projects. Firms must demonstrate their capabilities to fulfill these duties effectively.

Period of Performance
The contract period will be defined upon selection but will commence following the execution of the Basic Ordering Agreement. The exact duration of individual Task Orders will vary based on project requirements.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be the H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility in Prince William County, Virginia. Potential assignments may extend to other wastewater collection systems and related facilities within the county.
