VRS- AED, First Aid Kits & Hand Sanitizers Stations

Background
The Virginia Retirement System (VRS), an independent agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, is seeking to establish a contract for the servicing and refilling of First Aid Safety Kits, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) units, and Hand Sanitizer stations across its locations.
The goal is to ensure that all safety equipment is maintained in optimal condition for the safety and health of its employees and visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will provide services including:
1. **First Aid Safety Kits**: Service and restock items in kits located at four VRS locations, ensuring items are replaced when expired or unusable. The contractor must maintain logs of visits detailing inspections and restocking activities.

2. **Automated External Defibrillator Units**: Inspect AED units for functionality, replace expired pads, and provide training on new units if purchased. The specific model used is Defibtech DDU-2300.

3. **Hand Sanitizer Stations**: Inspect and refill hand sanitizer stations with a solution containing at least 75% denatured alcohol.

4. Services are to be performed every other month during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM). The contractor must supply all necessary labor, tools, materials, and equipment.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on March 1, 2025, and continue through February 28, 2028, with three optional renewals of three years each.

Services will be performed at four locations in Richmond, VA:
1. 1200 East Main Street Building
2. 1111 East Main Street Tower Building
3. 1111 East Main Street Pavilion Building
4. 6641 West Broad Street
