Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for snow and ice removal services from October through April (the Snow Season). Services include:
1. Immediate snow removal upon three inches of accumulation or as requested by a Virginia ABC Store Manager.
2. Availability to respond within two hours of notification for snow/ice removal.
3. Use of appropriate equipment including commercial quality salt/sand spreaders and plows.
4. Application of approved ice melt chemicals post-removal.
5. Ensuring safe passage by not blocking drains or piling snow inappropriately.
6. Hand shoveling or snow blowing for sidewalks unless otherwise approved.
7. Completion of service tickets signed by authorized personnel for verification.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from August 15, 2025, through August 14, 2026, with options for four additional one-year renewals.

Services will be performed at Virginia ABC Store 181 located at 106 West Washington Street, Middleburg, VA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered with eVA and may need to provide proof of SWaM certification if applicable. Contractors must ensure compliance with local/state noise ordinances and have OSHA-certified equipment.
