Unsealed Bid for Janitorial Services/Dinwiddie

Background
The Greater Reach Community Services Board is issuing this solicitation to establish a contract for janitorial services at Dinwiddie Counseling Services.
The goal is to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for the facility, which aligns with the agency's mission of providing quality community services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for janitorial services, except for certain items provided by the agency (liquid hand soap, toilet paper, trash can liners, trash bags).
Specific tasks include:
- Cleaning floors (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping)
- Cleaning restrooms (sinks, toilets)
- Dusting surfaces
- Removing trash from waste baskets and replacing liners.
The contractor must follow CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting. A detailed list of tasks and frequencies is included in Attachment A of the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 with four optional successive one-year renewal periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Dinwiddie Counseling Services located at 13900 Courthouse Rd., Suite C, Dinwiddie, VA 23841.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference on May 15, 2026.
They are required to submit a criminal history background check certification for all personnel assigned to work under this contract.
Additionally, bidders must comply with insurance requirements including workers' compensation and general liability coverage.
