Background
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is issuing this solicitation to procure a 40 horsepower dual debris blower for use at the Seaford Area Headquarters. The goal of this contract is to ensure that VDOT has the necessary equipment to manage debris effectively, supporting their mission to maintain safe and efficient transportation systems in Virginia.
Work Details
The contractor shall provide and deliver one Buffalo Turbine Cyclone Squared EFI Debris Blower model #BT-CKB4SQ or an equivalent model. The specifications for the debris blower include:
1) 360-degree nozzle control;
2) 40 horsepower gasoline EFI engine;
3) a fuel capacity of at least 6 gallons;
4) a 12-volt battery with a minimum of 350 cold cranking amps;
5) trailer mounted with an adjustable hitch; and
6) wireless remote control operation.
Delivery must be made F.O.B. within 30 days of contract award to the VDOT Seaford AHQ located at 110 Seaford Road, Seaford, VA 23696. The bid price must include all costs associated with the complete unit, delivery, and any incidentals.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence from the date of award and will last for one month, with no renewal options available.
Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at the VDOT Seaford Area Headquarters located at 110 Seaford Road, Seaford, VA 23696.
