UIFB# 160077 Corrugated Metal Pipe and Bands

Background
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver approved Arched Corrugated Metal Pipe and bands. This contract aims to support VDOT's infrastructure projects by ensuring the availability of essential materials for road and bridge construction.
The contract will be executed at the VDOT New Castle Headquarters located at 86 Commerce Ave, New Castle, VA 24127.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish and deliver Arched Corrugated Metal Pipe and connecting bands according to the specifications outlined in this solicitation. The specific requirements include:
- Quantity: 120 EA, Polymer Coated Arch Pipe, dimensions 81” x 59” x 20’ with 5 x 1 corrugations and rolled ends.
- Quantity: 4 EA, Arch Connecting Bands, polymer coated, dimensions 72” x 2’ wide galvanized arch, made from 12 gauge corrugated band.
- The pipe must conform to Section 232 (Pipe and Pipe Arches) of the most current edition of VDOT Road and Bridge Specifications and AASHTO M168.
- Delivery must occur within thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of purchase order.

Period of Performance
The contract period is non-renewable and will commence upon receipt of the purchase order, lasting no longer than thirty (30) days.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at VDOT New Castle Headquarters, located at 86 Commerce Ave, New Castle, VA 24127.

Bidder Requirements
This solicitation is set-aside for award priority to DSBSD-certified micro businesses or small businesses. Bidders must be certified as such by DSBSD on the due date for receipt of bids. Additionally, bidders must provide the name of the manufacturer and shipping point as part of their submission.
