Supply & Delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete

Background
The City of Virginia Beach is seeking firm pricing for the supply and delivery of ready-mix concrete products to jobsites on an as-requested basis. The purpose and intent of this Invitation for Bid is to establish firm pricing for the mentioned products.

Work Details
The contract involves the supply and delivery of ready-mix concrete products to jobsites on an as-requested basis. The average quantity needed per pour per location is 2 to 10 yards, with the average being 5 yards per pour per site within the City of Virginia Beach. The pours will be at the same designated site with up to 3 different locations on that site that day, totaling 2 to 3 pours per week.

The City will supply the yardage and additives needed for each pour at least 3 to 5 days in advance. The concrete will not be tested, but depending on the weather/temperature, the City will decide if less or more water is needed during the pour. Payments will be made by check. A Net 30-day term for payment is applicable.
