Storm Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Services

Background
The City of Waynesboro is seeking bids for Storm Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Services to maintain the integrity of its storm sewer system. The goal of this contract is to ensure that storm sewer pipelines, inlets, and manholes are properly cleaned and inspected, thereby supporting the city's mission to manage stormwater effectively and protect public infrastructure.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform the following tasks:

- Clean storm sewer pipelines.
- Clean inlets and manholes.
- Provide pre-inspection CCTV footage of pipelines and manholes.
- Receive City 'completion of cleaning acceptance' of post-inspection CCTV footage.
- Field locate all inlets and manholes along designated storm sewer reaches including Chatham Rd, Hollins Rd, Club Court, E Main St, N Winchester Ave, and N Delphine Ave at 4th St and 5th St.
- Identify, capture, and clean unmapped structures within the storm sewer reaches.
- Perform normal and heavy cleaning of existing storm sewers including cutting roots, sediment, intruding sealing ring material, and removing debris from mainlines and inlets.
- Dispose of debris and sediment with landfill weight tickets provided to the project manager.
- Maintain a clean worksite throughout the project duration.

Period of Performance
The work will be completed within 90 calendar days following a Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contract may be renewed by the City upon written agreement for four successive one-year periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the City of Waynesboro, Virginia.
