Stage II Landfill Gas Collection and Control System Expansion

Background
The City of Bristol, Virginia is seeking bids for the construction of the Stage II Landfill Gas Collection and Control System (LFGCCS) Expansion at the Bristol Integrated Solid Waste Management Facility (ISWMF). This project aims to enhance the existing landfill gas collection and control systems to improve environmental management and compliance with regulations.

Work Details
The work includes the construction of various components necessary for the expansion of the LFGCCS, which encompasses:
- Installation of landfill gas wellheads.
- Installation of landfill gas pipe and pipe fittings.
- Installation of LFG system valves.
- Construction of a condensate sump.
- Installation of a skid-mounted landfill gas blower-flare system.
- Earthwork including clearing, grubbing, stripping, trenching, backfilling, and compacting.
- Erosion and sediment control measures.
- Concrete work including forms, reinforcement, and cast-in-place concrete as specified in technical documents.

Period of Performance
The project is required to be substantially completed within 330 days from the notice to proceed and fully completed within 365 days.

The contract will be performed at the Bristol Integrated Solid Waste Management Facility located at 2655 Valley Drive, Bristol, Virginia 24201.
