Background
The Southwest Regional Recreation Authority (SRRA) is an organization with a mission to develop and manage multi-use trails in the Southwest Regional Recreation Area to stimulate, enhance, and sustain economic development and job creation through entrepreneurial opportunities in Southwestern Virginia.

Work Details
SRRA is seeking sealed bids for (4) Excavators. The specifications for the excavators needed include:
Warranty – Minimum of 24 months with option to purchase extended warranty;
Parts, Labor, and Service – Turnaround time two business days;
Horsepower – 39 minimum;
Reach at Ground Level – 19 feet minimum;
Hydraulic Thumb – Safety windshield for bush hogging – flow rate of 13 – 24 gallons per minute;
Four-Way Blade;
Plumbed for hammer and other attachments;
Cab with heat and air in addition to cab filtration system;
15-inch-wide track minimum;
24-inch-wide bucket;
Quick coupler for attachments and bucket;
Hydraulic bleeder valve for removing and installing attachments;
Mount for a fire extinguisher.

Period of Performance
Proposals must be submitted to the Authority via the eVA procurement system or in person by June 7th, 2024, at 3:00PM. The contract will be performed over the period specified in the awarded contract.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Southwest Regional Recreation Area in Southwestern Virginia.
