SPS Innovation Center

Background
The SPS Innovation Center project is initiated by the Suffolk Public Schools, aimed at converting an existing facility into administrative and office space.

The project is overseen by the Department of Purchasing in Suffolk, Virginia, with a focus on ensuring that construction activities do not disrupt school operations.

Work Details
The contract involves the conversion of an existing facility for administrative and office use.

Key milestones include:
- Notice-of-Award on or before March 31, 2025;
- Substantial Completion by August 15, 2025;
- Final Completion by September 1, 2025.

Construction documents will be available for download starting January 22, 2025.

Specific lighting fixtures required include:
- LITHONIA model 2VTL4-40L-ADP-MVOLT-GZ10-LP835-N100-EL14 for Type 5 lights (3 units);
- LITHONIA model BLWP2-20L-ADP-GZ10-LP835 for Type 10 lights (2 units).

Period of Performance
The work is scheduled to commence upon award notification with a Notice-of-Award expected on or before March 31, 2025.

Substantial completion is targeted for August 15, 2025, followed by final completion by September 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The project will take place at the existing facility designated as the SPS Innovation Center located in Suffolk, Virginia.
