Background
The Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) is the owner of the project, which involves significant upgrades to the West Point Treatment Plant. The goal of this contract is to enhance the plant's operational efficiency and reliability by replacing outdated equipment and ensuring continuous operation during construction.

Work Details
The project consists of:
- Replacement of an existing 240VAC generator with a larger 480VAC generator, including a support pad.
- Replacement of 120V and 240V electrical panels.
- Installation of a new transformer and an automatic transfer switch.
- Construction of a new ductbank.
- Implementation of complex construction sequencing and temporary power provisions to maintain continuous plant operation throughout the project.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be performed from the award date until completion, with bids due by March 20, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the West Point Treatment Plant located in the City of West Point, Virginia.
