Soil Erosion Control Services

Background

Work Details

- Miscellaneous erosion repair/control using FITREXX or equivalent products.

The contractor will supply materials, skilled laborers, product installers (certified if required by manufacturer), tools, and equipment with operators in compliance with the contract specifications. Specific items listed for pricing include various types of labor (e.g., Job Foreman, General Laborer), equipment rentals (e.g., Loader, Skid Steer, Track Excavator), and materials (e.g., Pea Gravel, Rip Rap, Filtrex Safety Soxx).

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed on an as-needed basis without a specified end date.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided throughout Prince William County.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet minimum insurance requirements including:

- Commercial General Liability with specific coverage limits
- Comprehensive Automobile Liability
- Umbrella/Excess Liability up to $5 million aggregate
- Workers’ Compensation & Employer’s Liability.

All insurers must have an AM Best Rating of A- VIII or better. A waiver of subrogation in favor of Prince William County is required for all policies.
