Shore Drive Corridor Improvements, Phase 3

Background
The City of Virginia Beach is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Shore Drive Corridor Improvements, Phase 3 project. The mission of this project is to enhance vehicular and pedestrian traffic flow and safety between Lesner Bridge and Beech Street. Specific tasks involve the construction of 72-inch water quality structures with treatment capacity and flow rate requirements. Smaller structures may be permitted if they meet or exceed specified pollutant removals and treatment volumes as approved by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. Additionally, an Environmental Sensor Station (ESS) will be installed on the Lesner Bridge, which must include all sensors as per VDOT Road and Bridge Standards Section 806.
